My Story


Roxanne Hill

Certified Holistic Well-being Coach and Mind/Body Practitioner

Decades ago, I was a young, single mother with two beautiful children under the age of five. I was determined to be a great mom and build a thriving career in Human Resources that would make my family proud. Over time, I had the privilege of supporting thousands of employees across industries including banking, retail, consumer packaged goods and hospitality. I got married, had one more amazing child and held several corporate leadership roles in my field. I worked with teams around the globe and met so many amazing people struggling to keep too many balls in the air every day.

I studied neuroscience and mindfulness as tools to help people improve their focus and feel more fulfilled in their endeavours. I learned that the only real way to break free of stress is to take action in both mind and body. My personal motto is that life is full of serious challenges but it's ok to have fun along your journey. If nothing else, I have always been able to help those around me enjoy the lighter side of life. What's more healing than that!

My Qualifications

I employ only evidence-based tools and approaches in working with my clients. My educational background began with a degree in psychology. I later went on to complete professional development in human resources, organizational development and leadership. I received certification in holistic life coaching and functional nutrition. I also hold diplomas in mindfulness-based stress reduction, mindfulness for children, relaxation therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy.

I know from personal experience that it is possible to overcome perpetual busyness and reconnect to who you really are as a person. I love working with diverse people from all walks of life and I would be honoured to be part of your journey too!


What you should know...

As a Holistic Well-being Coach and Mind/Body Practitioner I work with individuals and groups in a client-centered process to facilitate and empower the client to develop and achieve their own goals related to health and wellness. I support clients in mobilizing internal strengths and external resources, and in developing self-management strategies for making sustainable, healthy lifestyle and behaviour changes. I DO NOT diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments or provide psychological therapeutic interventions. However, I do provide expert guidance in areas in which I hold active, nationally recognized credentials and may offer resources from nationally recognized authorities that provide healthy lifestyle curriculum. Where appropriate, I am happy to ensure all services provided align with any existing treatment plans from your professional healthcare provider.
